We love you dad.
Our favourite playground. Yeah that's what my sis and I named Universal Studios Singapore (USS). We went to USS a couple of time in the year 2012 but we never did went there with dad. So me and sis decided to bring dad to USS to have some fun. Just the old man and his girls. No mum and No brother allowed. 29th November 2012 was the day that we had so much fun with dad. It was his 1st visit to USS and he was excited about it. We had breakfast and then we zoom off to USS. The look on dad's face is something that I remember till now. He was like a boy in a candy shop. Everything amazed him and I could see the joy in his eyes. I know he had fun with us. Just us, his daughters. However, my dad is not a thrill seeker. He avoid all the major roller coaster but we manage to trick him into riding the small roller coaster situated at Far Far Away.
We had so much fun. I mean, we rarely have time for such outing like this. Dad is always busy. But this is something that me and my sister would remember for a long time. A trip filled with lots of laughter and smiles. Most of the time, we were laughing at my dad cause we trick him into getting on rides that he is afraid off.
Since my dad is afraid to take all the thrilling ride, I decided to just catch all the live shows. My dad enjoyed the WaterWorld show. Actually, this is my 1st time watching it too. I have been to USS for a few time but I never manage to catch this show. All 3 of us enjoyed the show especially the pyrotechnique. Based on the blockbuster film, "Waterworld", witness a tidal wave of death-defying stunts, along with thrills and spills from real explosions of fire and water at this sensational live water show.
The seats are divided into 3 categories, the blue seats are the 'Soak' zone, the green seats are the 'Splash' zone and the red seats are the 'Dry' zone. We choose to sit at the 'Splash' zone. Mind you, we really get wet from all the splashing of water by the actors. Before the show starts, there is 3 actors who will interact with the audiences. That is where the splashing starts. If you are visiting USS, I strongly recommend for you to catch this show. Its worth it.
If you ask me, my sis and I will do this with Dad all over again...the fun, the laughter and the craziness is worth it.
We love you dad.
