My impromptu visit to this restaurant with lil sis really caught me by surprise. First of all, I did not know that this is a Korean restaurant. I did not have high expectation for the food. As I enter the restaurant, I really like the surrounding and layout of the restaurant. I know that there is a few outlet but I went to the Rivervale Mall outlet. Its much more quiet there and I like to eat my lunch/dinner in peace.
We look thru the menu. The price is not expensive. We order cheese fries for our appetizer. They have 1 of the nicest cheese fries I've ever taste. The unique cheese fries has chopped tomato sprinkle on top of it. Thumbs up for this one.
For my main course, I had my Black Pepper steak (what can I say, I'm a steak fan). As you can see from the picture below, the steak is huge. I like it but I was rather surprise that the sides were not place on the hot plate. I somehow like the way the mashed potato seems to be burn on the hotplate. I would however like if they were generous on the Black Pepper sauce.
Lil sis order Spaghetti Meat ball. I'm not a fan and I can't comment on this.
The sides of all the main are put differently on another plate. There's 4 sides to choose from whipped potato, coleslaw, fries and salad. I just love the way the whipped potato is being serve.
This is something everyone should try. Its the spicy Korean drumstick. The spicy chicken is really reaLLY REALLY spicy but I like it so much.
Overall I'll give 3.5 out of 5 stars. Its worth it to give it a try.
Always on a food hunt. Love chocolate. A fan of Coffee Bean. Ain't a coffee drinker.
